Client Services Director
Prior to joining Strategy, Donna worked for a publishing company where she developed and implemented the SEO strategy for a job board that was then purchased by the FT. She has worked in marketing for the FT, recruitment and non-executive products. Everything from job boards to post grad training and her marketing experience has covered B2B, B2C, international/global, niche and premium products, online, offline, DM, campaign planning, and hard to find audiences. Outside of work she uses these skills to help a couple of charities in the Bath area.
Donna manages the client services team at strategy and ensures that all of the essential activities take place. She helps to maintain and review client strategies and relationships and is liaison between client services, creative services and technical services.
Senior Client Manager
With over ten years experience, Claire has a background in full service marketing for professional services. She has been responsible for full website rebuilds, successful SEO and social projects whilst managing the full on and offline marketing plan.
As a Senior Client Manager Claire works closely with Client Managers ensuring that each of their Clients has a structured strategy in place which is tailored to their needs. She works with new Clients as they come on board researching their industry and carrying out reviews of their site and analytics which will enable her to provide the Client Manager with a strategy to carry forward.
Passionate about social, Claire also leads the social marketing team planning and implementing social media strategies across a broad range of Clients and industries, taking into account the needs of each business and their target audience.
In her spare time Claire works as a freelance music journalist writing critical reviews for genre specific websites. She also offers her time to charities where she feels she can offer support.
Senior Client Manager
David has worn plenty of hats in his career, particularly in the services delivery area. Having worked with clients ranging from micro-businesses to multinational corporates, this experience comes in quite handy at Strategy.
A passionate fan of marketing (offline and online), he enjoys taking the technical challenge that is website optimisation and converting it into website success for our clients.
One of our Senior Client Managers, David focuses on all the things necessary to get new clients off to a great start, from keyword and link building strategy to usability, working with key stakeholders, as well as maintaining a portfolio of his own high profile corporate clients.
Alex joins us having had a year and a half of internet marketing experience on client side with various companies from within the travel niche, from leading suppliers of airport parking, to small town businesses offering holiday accommodation. During this time he developed skills in optimising websites, as well as learning how to use different pieces of software, such as Adobe Dreamweaver.
Away from the office, Alex plays football semi-professionally for Tiverton Town and has done so at this level since the age of 17.
Creative Client Manager
Dave graduated from the University of Bath with a degree in Psychology. During his years at university he wrote regular freelance articles for numerous film and television websites. This led to a role as a copywriter/SEO specialist for a large company in Reading and then a project management role in the same company.
Over these last few years Dave has developed an extensive understanding of on-page and off-page SEO, copywriting and strategy techniques as well as building strong relationships with a range of clients.
After graduating from university, Holly naturally moved into digital marketing. She comes to Strategy with a history of web project management and coping with just about anything that might crop up during the lifecycle of a website.
From copywriting and editing to content management and social media integration, Holly is always interested to try new things and keep up to date with the latest web strategies.
Thomas BA (hons)
Thomas graduated in 2009 in Ancient History and Literature from the University of Reading. After university Thomas travelled the world for 6 months before coming back to manage on and off site SEO for a start-up business. During this time Thomas took the opportunity to develop skills in creative SEO through social media marketing and creative link building. Thomas also has experience in copy and blog writing, as well as Keyword research and Optimisation.
Tom comes from a background of SEO web copywriting and project management, and likes to get stuck in with anything web-related, technical or creative. With a strong history of client management, as well as training and development, Tom is well versed in the issues that can crop up during the development and optimisation of a website, and has picked up a repertoire of techniques to mitigate any problems.
Toni BA (Hons)
Toni has a strong background in editorial publishing, having worked for 7 years within the newspaper industry. For the last 6 years Toni has focused within the online marketing sector; working as marketing manager for a web design company and for a major online directory.
Toni’s key skills are onsite optimisation, link building, social marketing strategies, blog strategies and usability testing. Toni works closely with the clients to ensure they reach their online business goals quickly and effectively.
Alona has 9 years experience of PPC and over15 years in digital marketing as a whole; having worked client side for such internet pioneers as Yahoo!, DoubleClick and Shopping.com. Latterly she has been immersed agency side specialising in paid search working with digital agencies such as i-Level and Steak. She loves the ever changing spectrum that PPC brings and is looking forward to working with Strategy’s clients to make the most of their PPC campaigns.
Uday has experience in various parts of digital marketing, including PPC management, digital analytics and client development. With his education in business management he is keen to apply his knowledge to create digital marketing solutions. At Strategy, Uday is using these skills to grow clients’ businesses.
