Chris Fielden

Operations Director

Chris comes from a writing background. He started out as a freelance journalist, writing for newspapers and magazines and self-publishing novels. Through journalism, Chris started writing copy for websites before being offered a position with a Bristol based web-design firm as a copy writer / SEO consultant. There he learnt to combine his writing skills with on-page and off-page optimisation in a hands-on manner, working directly with clients from a variety of business backgrounds.

Chris now manages the creative team, working on many different creative projects for a wide variety of our clients and also oversees the day to day operations of the business.

Senior Content Manager

Nick spent a decade working on commercial magazines at Future Publishing in Bath, starting out as a staff writer and swiftly ascending the editorial ladder. Gaining his first editorship in 2006 pretty much did for what was left of his hair, but you’ll often hear him trotting out the line ‘grass doesn’t grow on a busy street’.

He left Future in 2010 to pursue new adventures in the online world, managing a portfolio of editorial-focused websites, running training programmes for budding writers, and drinking far too much black coffee.

Nick heads up Strategy’s team of writers, and is responsible for raising and maintaining the company’s exacting editorial standards.

Outreach and Social Media Executive

Estelle graduated from the University of Southampton in 2011 with a degree in Management Sciences and French. Whilst there, she set up an e-commerce company and started learning to market it online, building up a big social media following and developing skills in SEO, PPC and more. She loved it so much that she also took on an 8-month marketing internship to gain extra experience.

After graduating she worked as a freelance marketing assistant for various services-based and e-commerce companies until she came to Strategy. Here, she is focusing on creative copywriting and learning new SEO techniques. When she’s not working or running her business she loves to scuba dive, paint and learn new languages.

Social Media Engagement Manager

Susannah is responsible for overseeing social media engagement for clients, utilising a range of social media platforms and content promotion strategies. She has worked through a creative writing internship here at Strategy and ran the GKBC writing academy for 18 months, recruiting volunteer copywriters and helping to provide a content creation service for clients (on-site and outreach). Now she specialises in the social engagement side of things and is working particularly close with Google Plus. Susannah also manages the placement programme as well as being an active writer. She is fluent in French and brings in the laughs at Strategy.

Digital Project Co-ordinator

Jo graduated from the University of Warwick in 2011, with a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. Whilst at University Jo gained experience in writing on behalf of society and organised several exhibitions. After graduating, Jo spent a brief period travelling before coming home and setting up her own handmade jewellery business.

At Strategy Internet Marketing, Jo is heavily involved with creative writing SEO and is always developing her knowledge of online marketing.

Creative Designer

Elisabetta has a strong background in design and online journalism. She started her design career in 2002, working on magazines and producing promotional materials for companies such as Chanel. One of her most recent projects involves the C3 Foundation, founded by actress Claudia Christian.

Elisabetta then decided to share her experience in graphic design through writing. Her work can be seen on About.com, Designorati and Technorati Media, as well as Strategy’s blog. Her writing work first covered design, then expanded into technology and gaming. At Strategy she creates content for a range of clients, content that include infographics, interactive design, web design, branding and marketing material.

Digital PR ManagerBecky

Becky sits within the creative team and is responsible for creative media ideas and outreach. Her main objective is gaining high quality digital coverage to promote clients as well as the work of Strategy Internet Marketing and Strategy Consulting Ltd.

News is Becky’s buzzword, so anything involving research statistics, topicality relating to news headlines, product launches – in fact anything ‘new’ from clients is of interest, and she’ll craft it into a story for journalists in the trade.
