We started working on the search engine optimisation (SEO) of their web site nearly 3 years ago ago and have achieved very strong results year on year. The number of pages indexed by the main search engines has increased significantly resulting in higher online visibility. Google had just under 1,000 pages of the Alert Electrical web site indexed before we started, now they have thousands more landing pages in their index.

As well as improving the indexing of the site we have also optimised the on-page content and we carry out continuous strategic link building campaigns. The combined effect of these factors has led to a sharp increase in organic traffic that has been sustained over time. The traffic referred from search engines has increased by nearly 300% since we began. By focussing our efforts on profitable areas and analysing data from online advertising we have managed to increase the conversion rate of this organic traffic significantly so that revenue has increased 500%.

We have also been managing their Google AdWords pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaign for this client. By optimising the whole PPC campaign with regard to conversions we have been able to concentrate the advertising budget on the most profitable areas. This led to a 67% increase in total PPC monthly revenue. The client is so pleased with the results that we have expanded the campaign on the Yahoo! and MSN PPC advertising networks.
