We started working on the search engine optimisation (SEO) of their web site over 12 months ago and have achieved very strong results. The number of pages indexed by the main search engines has increased significantly resulting in higher online visibility. Google had just under 1,000 pages of the Alert Electrical web site indexed before we started, now they have nearly 6,000 pages in their index.
As well as improving the indexing of the site we have also optimised the on-page content and carried out a strategic link building campaign. The combined effect of these factors has led to a sharp increase in organic traffic that has been sustained over time. The traffic referred from search engines has increased by 150% since we began. We have also been managing their Google AdWords pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaign for this client. By optimising the whole PPC campaign with regard to conversions we have been able to concentrate the advertising budget on the most profitable areas. This has led to a 67% increase in total PPC monthly revenue. The client is so pleased with the results that we have expanded the campaign on the Yahoo! and MSN PPC advertising networks.
