Strategy Internet Marketing has reached 40 members of staff on the payroll for the first time.

New client manager Holly Hayman brought the company’s number of employees up to 40 when she joined Strategy this month.

Holly, 22, previously worked as a client manager at Yell. She is a graduate of Bath Spa University where she studied English Literature and Creative Writing.

She says: “Strategy is such a fast-growing company I am surprised they noticed, but the firm has an amazing eye for detail in everything it does so I should have known.

“I am so pleased to have won a position at this fantastic company. It is such an exciting place to work and I have never known such a dedicated attitude to customer service. I am extremely proud to work here and honoured to be the 40th member on the team.”

Strategy Executive Chairman John Courtney presented Holly with a bottle of champagne and said: ”Holly is a brilliant new appointment and we’re so proud she has brought our numbers up to 40.

“We have doubled in size each year for the last three years, and I suppose it won’t be long when it will be impossible for me to remember everyone’s first name, which is a little daunting.

“Our numbers make us a major player in the SEO sector and we are the biggest agency in the west of England by some margin. You need a big team to do this work effectively and we’re so pleased more and more companies realise this.”


Strategy Internet Marketing has won an SEO contract with Hardware.com, who deliver IT products, solutions and services to businesses ranging in size from 5 to over 10,000 users.

The fast-growing Gloucestershire-based company supply almost any type of networking hardware and software; with services ranging from ad-hoc consultancy, support and training through to fully managed IT systems.

Strategy’s Sales & Customers Services Director Stephanie Iles says Hardware.com are typical of the type of company Strategy is now attracting due to their “pay on results” offer.

Strategy Internet Marketing is celebrating the fifth anniversary of its “pay on results” SEO service.

The service was launched during the 2007 Ecommerce Exhibition in London and struck an instant chord with visitors to Strategy’s stand at the exhibition, says Strategy’s Executive Chairman John Courtney.

“We knew we were onto a winner straight away. The response from potential clients was superb. There was an explosion of interest.
